Chris earned a BBA in Petroleum Land Management in 1980 from the University of Oklahoma and his law degree from Oklahoma City University in 1988. He worked in the petroleum industry as a landman for Woods Petroleum Corporation, Edwin L. Cox and Terra Resouces until opening up his solo law practice in 1990 in his home town of Altus, Oklahoma.
After 27 years of conducting a solo law practice representing banks, hospitals, medical groups and agricultural clients of every sort, Chris closed his law office and set sail to the Emerald Coast.
Chris and Robin first found Destin in the summer of 1992 and from that moment set their hearts on leaving Oklahoma behind and establishing Destin as their home. Their dream came true in 2016 when they pulled into town with their 2 dogs, Lilly and Jazzmin, and Harley the cat.
Their constant reminder to each other is, “We live here.”
